Hello everybody!
Today, I’m taking part in the ‘Bookish This or That’s tag, for which I was tagged by Ayla!
Let‘s get started!
1. Audiobook or Text Book?
Considering I’ve only ever listened to one audio book (The Mum Detective by Gwyneth Rees, when my eyesight was still too bad after my surgery I was unable to read myself), I’ll definetely need to go for text books!
2. Paperback or Hardback?
Paperbacks. I don’t hate hardbacks anywhere near as much as I used to (I used to take dust jackets off and leave them bare as I thought they were so annoying 🙈) but there’s something much nicer about a paperback.
3. Fiction or Non Fiction?
As I can’t even think of a non fiction book I’ve read, I’ll need to say fiction!
4. Harry Potter or Twilight?
I’ve never read Twilight (nor do I want to) so it’s Harry Potter all the way for me! (Even though I was INCREDIBLY late to the HP party, I’m so incredibly glad I got there eventually)
5. Bookshop or Online?
I tend to prefer going to a bookshop, as it’s more interactive and fun, and I really REALLY love the feeling of bookshops. I do buy from Amazon etc too though!
6. Standalone or Trilogy?
Of these, I’d go for standalone, but I actually favour longer/open ended series, if I’m honest.
7. Sweet and Short or Heavy and Long?
Sweet and Short I think. My preferred length for books is between 300-400 pages (unless it’s Harry Potter, in which case I think are all almost exactly the perfect length for the plot) and I also definetely favour books which are lighter in tone.
8. Cosy Read/ Reading in the Sun?
Until this summer I’d probably have said reading in the sun, but this year it just didn’t hold the appeal it usually does, so I’ll have to go for a cosy read indoors!
8. Hot chocolate or coffee?
I don’t drink either!
Thank you so much for reading! I’m tagging Kelly and Louise ! I‘d love to hear in the comments or on Twitter @GoldenBooksGirl about some of your reading habits, both inspired by these questions and in general!

I’ve never read Twilight either! And I only read Harry Potter when I was 17 or 18, so you’re not alone 😛

You don’t drink hot chocolate or coffee? What about hot cider? I read Twilight in an airport bookstore about eight years ago and it doesn’t hold a candle to Harry Potter, so I’m with you there. But I love longer books and trilogies — if I like a story, it makes me sad to reach the end!!

I don’t really drink anything except for water, flavoured water and milk 😂
I love getting to know more and more about charcaters in each book of a series, and hate leaving them at the end too x

Hi, I loved reading these questions and found myself answering them before reading yours, oops. How come tea didn’t feature in the last question? 😊

I definitely agree about paperbacks, hardbacks may look nicer on a book shelf but I take mine in the bath and throw it in my bag, i don’t feel so bad about getting a paperback a bit messy! Haha x

Paperbacks for the win! So much easier to read as well- my hands always get sore with hardbacks x

What a great tag post, I haven’t seen this one before – would you mind if I did it too at some stage (and reference you, obviously!)? I’m with you on Harry Potter over Twilight, and definitely favour a cosy nook as I always fall asleep in the sun, haha! Loved all your answers too xx

Thanks so much for tagging me, Amy! I think I’ve already done this one but I will definitely check.
Many of my answers are similar to yours, as much as I love how hard cover books look, I just find paperbacks so much easier to actually read!

They really are! I’ve got a lot better with them though; when I was younger I used to take their dust jackets off as they were so irritating 😂

I always take the dust jacket off to read a hard cover, I couldn’t do it otherwise ha!

Ooh I love this! I’m going to steal it off you (I’ll link back though) it’s looks fun.
I take the dust-jacket off of hardbacks too, makes for some funny looks when people see the naked book.
