Hello everybody! Today, I’m going to to be doing the My Life in Books tag, which I found on Exploration of Creation and thought would be fitting since it’s my birthday in a few days (which I have a birthday themed post for on the day). Onto the post!
1. Find a book for each of your initials
I’m not counting A/the for these!
A- Armistice Runner
C- A Change is Gonna Come
S- Secrets of a Sun King
2. Count your age along the bookshelf: which book is it?
For the next few days, I’m still 16, and the 16th book on the desk shelf where I keep my library books/a few things from my TBR that are hard to fit in boxes (as you may know, I keep the majority of my books in storage boxes) is (at time of writing) Murder at Twilight by Fleur Hitchcock.
3. Pick a book set in your city/country
To the best of my knowledge there’s never been a book set in my exact town, but the closest place I can think of is Glasgow, and the book I know of that’s set there is Divided City. I read it in primary school and found it really interesting, as well as pretty authentic as to what Glasgow and its surrounding areas can be like.
4. Pick a book set in a destination you’d love to go to
Anna and the French Kiss is set in Paris, which is one of the only places I’d consider going abriad for nowadays! I’d love to goto Disneyland, and also just see the city itself
5. Pick a book that is your favourite colour
Death in the Spotlight, the 7th book in the Murder Most Unladylike series, is myexact favourite shade of purple.
6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?
Pony Club Secrets were my ultimate childhood series, so I think it has to be them. I really need to fit in a reread of them one day.
7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?
I found Moon Bear by Gill Lewis really hard to get through, due to the way the bears are treated. It’s heartbreaking.
8. Which TBR book will be your biggest accomplishment when you finish it?
I’m currently reading No et Moi for French, and the day I finish it I might throw myself a party. I’m really enjoying the challenge of reading in another language, but I can’t say I’m that keen on the prose/characters.
What would your answers to some of these be? Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned? I’d love to hear in the comments!
Amy x
Nosy Me loves this tag!
I wish that when I’d been studying French I’d read a book, as I probably would have managed it and it seems like such a fab challenge to set yourself.

This is a fun tag! My biggest accomplishment read will probably be a A Little Life which I’ve had sat on my shelves a LONG time and which is enormous. It’ll take some reading.
