Quarterly Wrap-Up: July-September 2021

Hello everybody! So, I basically totally forgot to write this post at the actual end of the quarter, but didn’t want to not do it, so hopefully people will still read it even though we’re now a good chunk of the way through October… onto the post!

Number of books I read… overall: 76

In… July: 29

In…August: 22

In…September: 25

Average number of pages read (according to Goodreads at time of writing):  293 pages

Longest book: undoubtedly As Good as Dead cause it’s HUGE

Shortest book: I’m not 100% sure of this… I’d hazard a guess at Diary of an Accidental Witch

MG: 57

YA: 8

Adult: 11

Most read genre– like I’ve said before, I have no scientific method for this, but looking at these few months I’m actually pretty sure it’s mystery books. Which is fun because I don’t think that’s happened before, and I’ve always said the summer is my favourite time to read mysteries so I guess this proves that, kind of?

Average star rating (according to Goodreads at time of writing): 4.2 stars, which is fairly accurate I think.

DNFS: 1

1 star reads: 1

3 star reads: 1

4 star reads: 54

5 star reads: 20

Authors I’ve read before vs authors I haven’t read before?

50 vs 26 (I absolutely did not achieve my goal of reading more new to me authors!! If there’s an author you love that I haven’t read from please do recommend me them!!)

Thank you so much for reading! How was your wrap up for this portion of the year? Do you have any thoughts on my stats or anything you’d like me to add to future posts like this? I’d love to hear in the comments!
