The Easter Time Book Tag

Hello everybody! Today, since it is good Friday, I thought it would be appropriate to do an Easter themed tag. This was originally created by Theresa, although the version I found seems to have a couple extra/different questions. Onto the post!

1. Easter Egg: Book That Feels Like a Hidden Gem

I have not heard anywhere near enough about the Last Fallen Star! It’s such an incredible MG fantasy and I loved it a lot. So buzzing for the sequel already as well!

2. Bloom: Debut Novel You Loved

I’ve read so many amazing ones this year! One of my absolute favourites which I haven’t mentioned in a while is the Secrets Act, which is a Bletchley Park-set murder mystery.

3. Chocolate Bunny: Book so Good You Didn’t Want it to End

Most recently, Drew Leclair Gets a Clue, which I won’t say too much about given my review will be up SUPER soon.

4. Cheap, Cheep: Book You Bought For Super Cheap

I’m actually really struggling with an answer for this?? I’d guess something I bought in a second hand or charity shop I guess.

5. Jelly Bean: Book You Thought Was Sweet

Yesterday Crumb and the Storm in a Teacup feels like an appropriate question!

6. Easter Basket: Book Filled With Many Surprises

The Twyford Code came straight to mind! One of the twists should not have shook me as much as it did, especially given I’ve read the Appeal, but it totally did.

7. Rabbits: Book You Wish Would Multiply/Sequel

First thing that popped into my head was Life of Riley: Beginners’ Luck because I really was convinced that was the start of a series and I was so excited because it was HILARIOUS, but no sequel has been announced. Simon’s second MG standalone was brilliant as well, to be fair!

8. Hunt: Book That Was Hard To Get Your Hands On

There are loads of things I could pick for this, but I’m going to go for Morgana Mage in the Robotic Age. I ordered a copy, and nothing turned up. So I had to buy a replacement and it just took forever to get here!

Thank you so much for reading! What are your plans for the long weekend, if you have any? What’s your favourite kind of chocolate? Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned? I’d love to chat in the comments!
