Hello everybody! Today, I’m going to be doing the Summer Bucket List book tag, which I’m pretty sure I haven’t done before. It was created by Tiffany, and I love the questions. Onto the post!

The Summer Bucketlist Tag
Hello everybody! Today, I’m going to be doing the Summer Bucketlist tag, which I was tagged for by Rosie. Onto the post!

The Rules
- Link back to the original creator in your post.
- Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
- Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them
Hit the Beach- a book set by the water
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given it’s about mermaids, a lot of And Then I Turned Into A Mermaid takes place in the sea and the rest in a seaside village. If you want a book full of sarky mermaids and sisterhood, I think you’ll like this.
Watch Fireworks- a book with a fiery romance
I very recently read Tell Me How You Really Feel and it does hate to love so well; lots of sparks fly! It also references several 80s films I love (including my all time fave), which won it lots of points for me.
Go for a Roadtrip- a book that involves a journey
As Rosie mentioned the brilliant Paper and Hearts Society in her post, I’ll mention another wonderful book with a different type of journey altogether, which is the Last Spell Breather. I was very lucky to read an early copy- it has an absolutely amazing world and magic system, great characters and a truly delightful talking fox called Frank.
Camp Under the Stars- a book that left you starstruck
Going off the same assumption Rosie did that this means a books with celebrities, but again I don’t want to say the samye book so I’ll go for Happy Girl Lucky by Holly Smale, which is about a very famous family called the Valentines.
Marathon Some Movies- a book you couldn’t put down
I’m currently devouring Top Marks for Murder on the day I’m writing this, so I’ll say that! It’s just as incredible as every book in the series that’s come before it and I am so happy to be back at Deepdean with my faves.
Go Out for Ice Cream- a book with a sweet romance
The romance in Cathy Cassidy’s latest Sasha’s Secret was precious. I loved it.
Go for a Hike- a character who conquered an obstacle
Jemima Small in Jemima Small Versus the Universe had a really a amazing journey of conquering her issues around body positivity, so I’ll say her. I loved both her and the book in general.
Grill some BBQ- a book with delicious food
I have never wanted to eat food from a book as much as I want to taste chocolates from the Chocolate Box in the series of the same name. They sound amazing.
Watch the Sunrise- a book that inspired you
I’m really struggling with this one. There’s a very specific quote from No Ballet Shoes in Syria that I found really inspiring on the subject of scars, so I’ll mention that. It’s an absolutely wonderful book all round and I highly recommend it.
I’m just going to tag anyone who fancies giving this a go!
What are your thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned? Are you planning to do any of these things this summer? I’d love to hear in the comments!
