The Me in Book Characters Tag

Hello everybody!

Today, I’m going to be doing the Me in Book Characters tag, which I was tagged for Rosie. Onto the post!

The Rules:

•Thank the creators of the tag – Ash and Lo @ Windowsill Books

•Thank whoever tagged you.

•List 5 book characters who you relate to most and explain why.

•Tag some of your friends!

My Characters:

Emmeline from Eye of the North: I’m just as neurotic and paranoid, and I speak to inanimate objects constantly. I genuinely apologise to each book when I’m doing an unhaul.

Tilly from How to Write a Love Story: I relate to a lot of the way Tilly feels about romance, particularly at the beginning of the book. We also have quite similar reading tastes in that the books we love most are often perceived as “fluffy” and of lesser quality.

Harriet Manners from Geek Girl: though I’m not quite as clever as Harriet (is anyone?), I do enjoy learning and have a penchant for random facts. If I only I had a Lion Boy too…

Laura Marlin from Laura Marlin Mysteries: my friend Louise came up with this one, because I’m apparently intelligent, love dogs and look a bit like an older version of Laura.

Frances Javier from Radio Silence– in some ways, reading Radio Silence felt like looking into a mirror. It was scary how much I related to the way Frances feels about exams and having to succeed because she’s always been percieved as clever.

I tag anyone who’d like to do this too!

What characters do you think you’re most like? Do we have any in common? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter @GoldenBooksGirl!
